Lakai is a Torrance, California based footwear manufacturer that enjoys a rich history in the skateboarding lifestyle. Founded by professional skateboarders Mike Carroll and Rick Howard in 1999, Lakai is built on the dedication and pride they have always invested into their skateboarding and the Girl and Chocolate brands. With a focus on creating an atmosphere that is supportive and motivating, while developing a product line that team riders can be proud of. Lakai has maintained a unique level of integrity and respect within the skateboarding community since it’s inception.

 

Lakai footwear is professionally endorsed by Rick Howard, Mike Carroll, Brandon Biebel, Marc Johnson, Guy Mariano, Vincent Alvarez, Nick Jensen, Danny Brady, JB Gillet, Jesus Fernandez and amateur talent Raven Tershy, Stevie Perez, Riley Hawk, Daniel Espinoza, Sebo Walker, Miles Silvas and Nakel Smith.

Lakai’s first video, Beware of the Flare, was released in June 2002. The highly anticipated follow up, Fully Flared, was released to critical acclaim on November 16, 2007.

My order didn't process correctly, but there is a pending charge with my bank/ cardholder, so did my order go through?

This is probably our most frequently asked question. The short answer is, if you didn’t get a confirmation email from us showing your order details, the order did not clear our payment gateway. If there is a pending charge on your card, contact your bank or cardholder to have the pending charge removed from your account as there is nothing we can do to reverse it unless the charge has actually cleared our payment gateway. Thank you.

How do you handle returns?

Please do not send returns to the address above. To inquire about returns, contact the retailer from which you purchased the product. If that doesn’t work out, you can write to us at “ATTN:Returns” explaining your problem, and if it is within reason we will do our best to help you out. For online purchases from the Lakai website, refer to our returns policy link.

I have a shop, and I want to carry Lakai, what do I need to do?

Call our sales department at 310-783-1900, let them know the city and state where your shop is located, and they will direct you to the sales representative in your area that can help you facilitate your request.

What is your warranty policy?

LAKAI will guarantee all of its products from any manufacturing defects. However, consumers must realize LAKAI products are designed and developed specifically for skateboarding, and therefore, LAKAI can not guarantee against the normal wear and tear of daily use. Email inquiry@lakai.com for assistance with manufacturing defects.

What about International Shipping & International Returns?

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Lakai has partnered with a trusted third-party company, International Checkout, to fulfill orders for our International customers. Simply put the items you wish to purchase in our Shopping Cart and choose the “International Checkout” option. Your items will be transferred to International Checkout for processing.
