XLK is Lakai’s premiere cup sole category. The ideology behind our XLK construction is to provide the increased structural integrity of a cup sole while reducing overall sole weight by sculpting sidewalls and minimizing rubber in areas where it is not needed. All XLK soles have been developed using a careful balance of rubber compounds, vertical flex zones, unique herringbone tread patterns and weight shaving design durometers to provide maximum flexibility, minimal weight, increased flexibility and optimal board feel. You can identify all XLK styles by their branded shock absorbing molded EVA sock liners and unique XLK sole badges.
